Recording and composition support

Greendog music services can assist with recording and composition for small-scale productions such as those found within schools, colleges, youth centres and community events. Resources available include a mobile recording unit and support for composition and song writing. By further offering additional instrumentation performance, most projects can be enhanced to reach their full potential, something that would otherwise be limited to the resources and abilities solely contained within the project.
With GCSE music projects it can lessen the burden on teachers and staff allowing more time to be devoted to the creative side of a project.
This can also be a welcome relief to teachers and staff especially during the busy terms.

Working on location

A problem facing many schools and community projects, especially those involving young people, is that of transport and travel arrangements. As we are able to offer our services “on location” this is no longer an issue.
Our support also presents an opportunity for individuals to work alongside music and media professionals, which can create further openings for their own creative expression whilst developing a wider range of personal skills.
These musical opportunities usually inspire and enthuse other young people that can add greatly to the creative and artistic wealth of any school or community.

Already providing support

Greendog music services already work in and with schools offering support for GSCE music projects. Our assistance in recording and composition has helped many students gain high standards in their course work to count towards their qualifications.
Other successful projects have involved collaboration with youth centres involving song writing, performance and recording resulting with some overwhelming results.
Fuelling ambition and creating positive response will open new opportunities for many young people, which is something of great value to us all.

Funding and costs

We are able to offer our services at very reasonable rates. The quality of our productions and support is comparable to other professional services but having a much smaller scale of operations means our rates are substantially less than those of the larger services.
